Video: Prabhas expresses his excitement

SS Rajamouli and Co has succeeded in elevating the standards of Telugu cinema with the mighty successful Baahubali franchise. Helmed on a monstrous budget of close to Rs 400 crore, the two-part film accumulated a worldwide gross of over Rs 1800 crore. Without stopping with that, the magnum opus released to a fantastic ovation in countries like Japan where the film characters went on to create quite an impact among the local audience.
It’s already evident that the first part ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ is all set for a world premiere on the giant screen at the Royal Albert Hall in London. This special screening will be accompanied by MM Keeravani’s epic score performed Live in-Sync by the royal philharmonic concert orchestra. The event is scheduled to take place on October 19.

One among the major highlights of the grand show will be the attendance of original cast members which include Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Anushka Shetty. Expressing his excitement to be a part of the memorable event, the 39-year-old Saaho actor took to Instagram and wrote “It's going to be an experience of a lifetime seeing the score of our film #Baahubali being played LIVE at the Royal Albert Hall. I can't wait to be a part of this moment and I’m looking forward to seeing you all there!”
After enjoying the stupendous success of Saaho especially in the Hindi belt, the Rebel Star of Tollywood has shifted his focus onto his next project. Prabhas has already signed his next film with Jil fame Radha Krishna Kumar and a short schedule has already canned in the exotic locations of Italy. Tentatively titled as Jaan, it’s believed that the makers have erected a special set which resembled the era of the 1970s.

‘Saaho’ seemed inspired by Jerome Salle’s French film ‘Largo Winch’, just like Trivikram’s Pawan Kalyan starrer ‘Agnyaathavaasi’ was. The film saw the story of a group of dons from the fictional city of Waaji, who vie for the throne after their head dies in an accident. Elsewhere, the police department investigate a bunch of robberies with the help of an undercover cop. How these two worlds collide and is anyone who they seem forms the crux of the story. In the film, Prabhas played the role of a mafia empire heir masquerading as an undercover cop, while Shraddha Kapoor played the role of a cop too. The film featured a huge cast list which includes names like Neil Nitin Mukesh, Evelyn Sharma, Mandira Bedi, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey and others.

Prabhas enjoys being called an action star

With massive hits such as ‘Saaho’ and the ‘Baahubali’ franchise under his belt, Prabhas is on a career high. The actor, known for his pan India appeal, is one of the most highly paid stars. In fact, he is best known for his high octane action sequences, which have been much appreciated by fans. With Prabhas’s latest release raking in the moolah, filmmakers are scrambling to sign up the star. However, he is known to take his time while choosing his projects, which usually take time to be made. His next film is reportedly ‘Amour’, which also stars Pooja Hegde. In a recent interview, the actor said that his towering height (6’0) helps him in his action sequences and makes his stunts look even more authentic. He said that 17 years ago when he made his debut, his director had decided to have just two action sequences, but after seeing how good Prabhas looked on screen performing stunts, he added one more action scene. It was after this, he added, that filmmakers started giving him more action packed films.

After a short break, Prabhas will start work on ‘Amour’, which is being made by Radha Krishna Kumar.
