Prabhas is the soul of the script. Am sure this movies stands tall in his career. He delivered all the emotions very well. His comedy timing was amazing. The costumes were very simple and vibrant.

Kudos to Karunakaran for making Darling a clean U family entertainer. Darling is an instant hit and has all the potential to become a super hit.

Prabhas is at his best. His gait, his glow, his performance and confidence carried the movie happily.The major asset for this movie is Prabhas who handled the audience with his great looks and confident performance.

‘Darling’ is quite a harmless film, in the sense that, it doesn’t harm your intelligence. It hardly takes itself seriously and Karunakaran’s formula works to a great extent. It’s the story of a jovial hero who is smitten by a beautiful girl; the love story between this couple and a happy ending. This formula may have been done to death, but it’s still an enigma that it works over and over again.

Thumbs up for ‘Darling’ and the trio Karunakaran, Prabhas, Kajal. Go watch it and if you order this ‘Cheese Cake’ then make sure that you watch the end credits for some ‘extra cheese’! Life’s always good in Karunakaran’s world.

Prabhas 'Darling' Movie Audio Release

Prabhas-Kajal Agarwal starring ‘Darling’ being directed by Karnakaran under Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra Pvt. Ltd., had its audio release function on April 8th at Cyber Gardens, Hyderabad. ‘Chatrapathi’ fame BVSN Prasad is the producer of this film. 

The audio function was attended by Prabhas, Allu Arjun, Ravi Teja, Kajal Agarwal, Puri Jagannath, VV Vinayak, SS Rajamouli, Boyapati Sreenu, Dil Raju, Mehar Ramesh, Karunakaran, BVSN Prasad, Krishnam Raju, Sravanti Ravi Kishore, Shyam Prasad Reddy, Gemini Kiran, Aditya Babu, Andrews, GV Prakash Kumar, Supreme Raju, Parachuri Prasad, Nallamalapu Bujji, Ananth Sriram, etc.

The programme started off with a cake cutting on the occasion of Allu Arjun and Ananth Sriram’s birthday. Later the audio was released by all the directors and the first copy of it was received by all heroes who attended the function. G V Prakash Kumar, nephew of AR Rahman composed the music.

Birthday boy Allu Arjun while speaking, “Everyone in film industry calls Prabhas as ‘Darling’. The way my birthday was celebrated in this function itself indicates that Prabhas is a ‘Darling’ to me and to everyone. I hope this film will become a good film to all the technicians who worked for this film. And I also hope that the flick will become a big hit for our mass hero Prabhas.”

Puri Jagannath said, “I wanted to direct a romantic film with Prabhas. I hope Karunakaran would have directed this film with his sensitive thoughts. He also expressed that he liked only one scene in ‘Pokiri’. I wish that this film will be a big success for the entire team of ‘Darling’.”

“The trailers of this flick are excellent. There is one scene in this flick in which Prabhas runs with a knife. That scene has inspired me to direct an action oriented film with Prabhas. Karunakaran is an expert in taking films on romantic subjects. Prabhas and Kajal pair is very sweet.”

Krishnam Raju opined that the music of ‘Darling’ is very good. He appreciated the producer for making a good film like ‘Chatrapathi’ in the past.

Karunakaran hoped that ‘Darling’ will be as big hit as Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Tholiprema’.
