We all know that ace director S.S. Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’ is India’s most expensive film under production. Some speculations have put the number at 130 Crores and some at 150 Crores. But the actual figure is much higher than that.
A source who is closely working with the Baahubali production unit has informed us that the budget of the film is set to cross 175 Crores! This is way beyond what everyone has been estimating so far. According to our source, the figure is so high because the film is being made in two parts and multiple languages. The Tamil release of the movie will be as big as the Telugu release.
Because of the two parts, S.S. Rajamouli’s brand, the presence of a massive star cast and the craze surrounding the film, the producers feel that this figure is quite easy to recover. We have also learnt that the film’s VFX work will be on par with films like ‘Lord of the Rings’ and ‘Avengers’ as international teams are working on it. The war sequences are going to be a special highlight for the movie.
Arka Media banner is producing this big budget production and the film is going to release in Summer 2015.

"Actually I don't have anything in my mind that she has to be some particular way. The right attitude is my first preference. Looks are great but it's the right attitude that is most important and it adds to looks. There are also a lot of chances for a common girl to come into my life. I don't have this thing that I have to marry a star. Life is different, I could marry a common girl. And I'm not so bothered about height. Until I was 18-19 years, I never realised that I was tall because everyone in my house is very tall. It was after coming into the industry that I saw its importance more, it is a big deal here."

S.S.Rajamouli has such an impact as a director that every project of his generates a lot of hype right from the launch. His latest project, 'Baahubali', is making more buzz than any of his previous projects as it involves a huge star cast, top notch technicians and involves budget never spent before on any other Telugu film.
According to Rajamouli, the epic war sequences in the film will thrill the audiences and the film will be a visual feast to the audiences.
The curiosity on this film is such high that even super star Rajinikanth once said that he wanted to visit the sets of the film and see how the shoot is going on. In addition to ensemble cast like Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah, Satyaraj, Nassar etc, national award winning art director Sabu Cyril, M.M.Keeravani, Senthil Kumar etc are working for the film. Rajamouli also said that some internationally famous VFX technicians are working for the film. The movie is being shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil and will be dubbed in Hindi and Malayalam. It is also said to be going to be released in two parts.
Till now, the budget of the film is said to be 100 Cr, but according to some very reliable sources, the budget is going to be exceed 150 Cr. It means each part of the film involves a budget of nearly 75 Cr. S.S.Rajamouli's earlier historical drama film, 'Magadheera', made with a budget of around 42 Cr, had set the cash registers ringing at the box office and collected a world wide share of over 78 Cr, which is equal to the budget of each part of 'Baahubali'. It means 'Baahubali' has to collect more.
The money being spent by the producers show their confidence on the project. As the film is going to be dubbed into Hindi and Malayalam, there is a fair chance that it can collect the invested amount if it impresses the audiences every where. But if it not lives up to the expectations, the producers will have to incur huge losses. But if you look at the track record of Rajamouli, no one would get such doubts of a failure. His hardwork reflects in his every project and as 'Baahubali' is a very prestigious project for him, he will definitely put some extra effort to make it a masterpiece.
Hope this film will make a huge impact everywhere it releases and makes our Telugu people proud.
