Reunion For Prabhas And Uncle

Prabhas fans are eagerly waiting for the release of his upcoming movie 'Saaho' whereas the 'Darling' actor has launched his next film under the direction of the 'Jil' fame Radha Krishna. Pooja Hegde female lead in the movie. 

As the movie is going to be a love story set in the backdrop of Europe, the movie unit has already reached Italy and the shooting of the movie will be started soon. Both 'Saaho' and this movie are bankrolled by UV Creations. It is also known that Prabhas's uncle Krishnam Raju is also a part of the production department of this film. In fact, UV creations have become the home banner for Prabhas and instead of taking the remuneration he just takes a small percentage from the profit of the film. After 'Baahubali' Prabhas wanted to make Prabhas act in his production banner Gopi Krishna Movies. But as it is not getting materialized, Prabhas made his uncle collaborate with Yuvi and bankroll this project. 

As per the latest reports, the story was initially written for Ramcharan but they made some modifications that will suit for Prabhas' image. The details about cast and crew will be announced shortly. The movie is much likely to hit the screens at the end of 2019.

First schedule for Prabhas20 gets a date

Young Rebel Star Prabhas’ most eagerly awaited 20th film had a grand launch this morning . The film is being produced by Prabhas’ uncle and veteran hero Rebel Star Krishnam Raju’s Gopi Krishna Movies and UV Creations banners. 

According to the latest updates, Prabhas20’s first schedule will commence from the 20th of September in Europe. Prabhas and the film’s leading lady Pooja Hegde will take part in the first schedule. This as-yet-untitled film is said to be a period romantic entertainer set in the 80s. Jil fame Radha Krishna Kumar will be directing the movie. 

Meanwhile, the makers have denied the reports of AR Rahman scoring the music for Prabhas20. Stay tuned for further updates on this exciting project.

Baahubali 2 to be introduced as a case study in IIM Ahmedabad, will focus on teaching the power of a sequel

In a first of sorts, the record-setting SS Rajamouli film Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is going to be introduced as a case study as part of one of the electives in the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Students of the Contemporary Film Industry elective will be learning about the power of a sequel and how a sequel can derisk the movie as a marketing concept, according to DNA report.

"I will be introducing Baahubali 2 as a case study in the new academic year and it will essentially focus on the power of a sequel and how a sequel can de-risk the movie as a marketing concept. There is a research from Stanford university which says that a prequel is always considered better than the sequel but a sequel makes more money than a prequel. Sequels make more money because the producers become more marketing savvy based on the success of a prequel," said Professor Bharathan Kandaswamy, according to the same DNA report. 

IIM Ahemedabad was also reportedly the first business school in Asia which introduced a comprehensive elective course on the film industry and more than 700 students have apparently opted for the elective. 

Baahubali 2: The Conclusion hit theaters on 28 April, 2017 and earned more than Rs 100 crore on its opening day itself. The film sees Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Anushka Shetty in lead roles.

Prabhas is not a kid to be pushed into marriage: Krishnam Raju

For the last couple of years, Prabhas’ marriage has been a burning topic among fans and paparazzi. Prabhas’ uncle Rebel Star Krishnam Raju had earlier said that the wedding will take place after Baahubali 2’s completion. However, Prabhas got himself busy with Saaho, leaving everyone guessing. 

In his latest interview with an English daily, Krishnam Raju said that he has been prodding Prabhas about his plans to tie the knot and that the Young Rebel Star keeps on telling him that he will settle down very soon. “Prabhas is not a kid to be pushed into marriage. He is matured enough to take decisions,” said the veteran actor. 

During his interaction with the Abu Dhabi media around a month ago, Prabhas said that he will not comment on his marriage plans as it’s his personal matter.

Abhishek Bachchan wishes to remake this Prabhas’ blockbuster

Bollywood stars acting in the remakes of Telugu hits is not a new phenomenon. Bollywood hero Abhishek Bachchan too has his share of South Indian remakes. In a latest interview while promoting Manmarziyaan, Abhishek revealed that one Telugu film he would like to remake in Hindi. 

“I used to watch a lot of Tollywood films in the past. I particularly liked Prabhas’ Chhatrapati. The film has all the elements like drama, emotion, comedy and romance in equal portions. Given a chance, I would like to act in Chatrapathi’s Bollywood remake,” said Abhishek.
