Prabhas Steals the Thunder


Unveiled on the occasion of Prabhas’ birthday on Wednesday, the making video of Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘Bahubali’ has received a thumping reception from all corners, so much so that it went viral in less than few hours of its release. The director later tweeted: ‘team Bahubali is super excited that everyone liked it’
Less than few hours of its release, the making video of ‘Bahubali’, the highly anticipated costume drama bringing together the combination of Superstar Prabhas and acclaimed director SS Rajamouli, has gone viral across the virtual world. Released on the occasion of Prabhas’ birthday on Wednesday by Rajamouli, the video has received thumbs up from fans and critics of the actor and director. Taking to Twitter, the maker in a lighter vein said that video had to be released due to the intense pressure from the production team of the film, who are diehard fans of Prabhas.
As soon as the video, cut by the maker’s son SS Karthikeya and his team, was out, social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter were abuzz with the screen shots of the actors look which was revealed in the penultimate portions of the video. Looking royal in a twirled moustache, the actor, who went through a rigorous fitness regime for almost six months for the look, has been the hot topic of discussion on the social networking mediums, so much so, that his fans have decided to ape the look.
Starring Anushka, Rana, Sathyaraj, Nasseer and Ramya Krishna in significant roles, Arka Media which is producing the film has also stated that the film is due for 2015. Like with all other Rajamouli movies, his brother, MM Keeravani is rendering tunes for this flick, touted to be the most expensive film of T-town till date. Currently progressing in Hyderabad, the film will be released in two parts because of its prolonged running time
