Today (April 7th) is an important day for the production unit of Baahubali. The ‘Gummadikaya Ceremony’ (Pumpkin breaking ceremony), which is a time honoured Tollywood tradition that marks the formal completion of a film’s shooting, will be performed today.
With this, only the post-production work remains for the first part of ‘Baahubali’, which is gearing up for a summer release. A special song was picturised on Prabhas and some dancers over the last few days at a specially erected set in Annapurna Studios.
Director S.S. Rajamouli is handling this big budget period drama that is being produced by Arka Mediaworks. Prabhas will be seen as the hero in this movie and Rana Daggubati will be playing the role of Bhallala Deva. Anushka Shetty and Tamannah Bhatia are the heroines.
With an unprecedented budget and scale, ‘Baahubali’ is going to provide a visual feast for movie lovers in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and other languages.
