Bollywood Actors in Baahubali 2 ?
Ace director SS Rajamouli, who is basking in the huge success of "Baahubali - the Beginning", is said to be contemplating on roping in Bollywood actors for the movie's sequel.
"Baahubali" is a two-part period movie written by V Vijayendra Prasad and SS Rajamouli. The first part titled "Baahubali - the Beginning" was released on 10 July and become the fourth highest grosser Indian movie with its 20-day worldwide collection reaching Rs 450 crore. The film is still doing well at ticket counters across the globe.
In a bid to create curiosity among viewers, SS Rajamouli has put an abrupt end to "Baahubali - the Beginning", which ends with the announcement of the release date of its sequel (September 2016). The movie has left many question unanswered, which has increased the curiosity of audiences across the globe for the sequel.
"Baahubali - the Beginning" has been getting positive response not only from the audience, but also from Indian superstars and international critics and trade experts, who are curious about its sequel. Now, "Baahubali 2" is riding on the huge amount of expectations.
Hence, even as "Baahubali - the Beginning" continues its success run at ticket counters in its third week, SS Rajamouli is busy with the preparation for the production of its sequel. Along with southern actors, he has reportedly planned to rope in some Bollywood stars to extend the reach of the sequel in the global market.
It may be recalled here that SS Rajamouli brought ace Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar on board to present its Hindi version of "Baahubali - the Beginning". His association has helped the movie increase its prospects, with the Hindi version collecting over Rs 90 crore nett at the Indian box office in 20 days.
"Baahubali - the Beginning" has become a blockbuster success without having any nationally- acclaimed hero in it. Now, by planning to cast some popular Bollywood actors in the sequel, SS Rajamouli is planning to create another landmark in the history of Indian cinema, say experts. Speculation is high on which Bollywood star will be roped in for the film.

Baahubali on verge of creating New Record in Chennai
SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali" has emerged as one of the biggest hits in Chennai. The movie has made fantastic collection and has broken several records. Now, it is on the verge of beating Ajith's "Yennai Arindhaal" record.
The combined collection of the two versions (Tamil+Telugu) of "Baahubali" in Chennai stands at Rs. 5.52 crore by the end of its third weekend, reports Behindwoods.
It has already beaten the record of 2015 hits like "Kanchana 2", which had raked in Rs. 5.16 crore, Kamal Haasan starrer "Papanasam", which is still running in theatres and so far has earned Rs. 4.2 crore and Suriya's "Massu", which grossed Rs. 4.1 crore in the capital city of Tamil Nadu.
Now, the next target for "Baahubali" is Ajith Kumar's "Yennai Arindhaal", which made Rs. 5.72 crore and is in the second position in the list of highest grossing movie at the Chennai box office in 2015. The SS Rajamouli's flick requires about Rs. 20 lakh to beat it and it is expected to make the amount in its third week.
However, we have to wait and see whether "Baahubali" can beat the record of Vikram's "I", which made a lifetime business of Rs. 8.82 crore in Chennai. For this record to beat, the multi-starrer movie has to retain the momentum and continuously perform well at collection centres for the next two weeks.
Meanwhile, the total collection of "Baahubali" in Tamil Nadu has crossed Rs. 50 crore. Even in the weekdays, the movie enjoys good occupancy.
"#Baahubali (Tamil) - Rock solid on Monday in TN ,18th day of release. Many screens occupancy 85 to 100 % for Noon & Matinee. Blockbuster," a leading critic and trade tracker tweeted about the Monday buzz.
But, the movie business has been affected after cinema halls in the entire state decided to remain shut on 30 July as a mark of respect to APJ Abdul Kalam, who passed away on 27 July.
"Baahubali" stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamanna Bhatia in the lead roles with Ramya Krishnan and Sathyaraj playing key characters.

Most Successful Dubbing Film Ever
The market of dubbed movies is actually quite limited and restricted. If truth has to be spoken, only five out of ten movies really create an impact and make money at the box office in another industry. Given that situation, can you imagine one dubbed movie making 100 crores at the box office?
This impossible task seems to be becoming a reality thanks to the magnum opus Baahubali. According to the latest reports, the Hindi version of the film has already touched 90 crores collection and the graph is still going steady. Many experts are predicting 100 crores is an achievable figure.
Given the fact that the film doesn’t really have branded star faces that the north crowds can hail and admire, this sort of achievement is actually remarkable. If Baahubali touches the 100 crore mark, then there is no doubt in saying that it would take a real long time for any other dubbed flick to reach that number.

Baahubali Malayalam Poster
SS Rajamouli's blockbuster period film "Baahubali - the Beginning" (Bahubali) has maintained rock-steady collection at the worldwide box office on its third Monday, taking its 18-day gross total to 435 crore.
As predicted by trade analysts, the business of "Baahubali - the Beginning" dropped at the ticket counters on its third Monday, but its collection is almost equal to its third Friday. The movie was seen running with 100% occupancy in many cinema halls around the world.
On its third Monday, "Baahubali - the Beginning" is estimated to have collected 10 crore gross at the worldwide box office, taking its 18-day global gross total to 435 crore.
"Baahubali - the Beginning", which was released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam, has already broke the life-time gross collection record of Shah Rukh Khan's "Chennai Express" (423 crore) and landed the third place in the list of all-time highest grosser Indian films worldwide.
This is the biggest business for a South Indian movie.
Now, "Baahubali - the Beginning" is now fast heading to smash the life-time collection record of Aamir Khan's "Dhoom 3", which is the second all-time highest grosser Indian movie with its life-time collection of 525 crore in global market.
Since there are no big releases next week, the film is likely to continue its rocking run and beat the record of "Dhoom 3" in its fourth week.

Prabhas requested the Prime Minister to watch Baahubali and the PM told him that he will surely watch it later as he is busy these days. While Prabhas’ fans are thrilled with their favorite star meeting the Indian Prime Minister, they are absolutely thrilled with Modi’s praise to Prabhas.

Will 'Baahubali's' Prabhas Be The Next Harrison Ford, Or Elijah Wood?
You know you’re on a roll when the prime minister of your country takes a break from the duties of leading 1.2 billion people to brag on Twitter about meeting you.
You know you’re hotter than hot when the Times of India calls you ‘The New Salman Khan Of The Film Industry.’
Prabhas, the immensely likable and charismatic 35 year-old star of Baahubali: The Beginning—now the biggest blockbuster hit in South Indian cinema’s 84 year existence—is at a fateful, peak moment in his movie star career. Only a few times before have movie stars found themselves in this position, having played indelible lead roles in record-breaking action blockbusters. What he does next will determine whether he enjoys a stellar, Harrison Ford post Star Wars type career, or a relatively undistinguished career like that of Elijah Wood post Lord of the Rings.
Not to knock Elijah Wood—he’s a likeable, talented, and very busy actor—but after his starring turn as Frodo Baggins in one of the most successful movie franchises in Hollywood history, one would have hoped to find him in loftier productions than the movie Cooties or a TV series called Robot Chicken.
Ford, on the other hand, parlayed the good fortune of his success in Star Wars into a phenomenal 40+ year career as one of the world’s biggest and most consistent box office heroes. He’s such a movie badass that he’s still playing Han Solo, 38 years after he first introduced the character in Star Wars: A New Hope. He’s worked with world-class directors like Spielberg, George Lucas, and Ridley Scott, playing the president of the United States (Air Force One) , CIA Analyst Jack Ryan (Patriot Games) a noir detective who hunts down androids (Blade Runner) and perhaps one of the most memorable movie characters of all time, Indiana Jones.
Now that’s the kind of career Prabhas ought to be aiming for. He has demonstrated a broad range of talents, from his abilities to sing and dance, to literally and figuratively carry off the challenge of playing a movie god, to credibly charm beautiful divas in one scene and then lead an army into battle in the next. Some may quibble about his acting chops, but that’s scarcely been an obstacle for many of India’s leading stars, or for Hollywood’s either.
So what’s next for this sizzling hot movie star? After a European vacation with friends he’ll return to India to shoot the rest of Baahubali: The Conclusion beginning in September. And after that, it would be advisable for him to continue working with those collaborators who have helped him reach his current megastar status. As we’d say here in America, “dance with the one who brung you.” Director S.S. Rajamouli has already stated that he couldn’t have pulled off Baahubali without him, and writer Vijayendra Prasad created the story that made his star-making role possible. Let’s hope that this creative trio has more marvelous movies in store for the future.
Baahubali Telugu version rakes in 150 Crores share
Rajamouli’s epic saga, Baahubali, is setting a new benchmark with jaw-dropping collections all over the world. The collections are steady in the third week as well and major number of screens have been retained in overseas.
The overall gross has already zoomed past the 400 Crore mark.
With the latest trade reports, the Telugu version alone has notched up around 152 Crores.
It is well known that the Telugu version got released in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and in the overseas along with Andhra and Telangana. It has been doing exceptionally well in all the other regional languages as well.
Starring an ensemble cast in the form of Prabhas, Rana, Anushka, Tamannaah and few others, this movie was directed by SS Rajamouli and Arka Media Works is the production house behind this visual grandeur.

Baahubali Meets The PM
Darling today had the privilege of meeting the Indian Prime Minister
"It was a privilege meeting our honourable Prime Minister, Narendra Modi Ji. We spent much time discussing Baahubali and I suggested to watch it. He said he's extremely busy but will watch it if and when he gets the time. Hope he enjoys the film" said Prabhas on his Facebook Page.
