Prabhas starrer 'Baahubali' beats Salman Khan's 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' to become most liked film of 2015

Prabhas starrer "Baahubali-The Beginning" (Bahubali) continues to add more records to its name as it has come up as the "most liked film" of 2015, beating Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan".

Although "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" is ahead of "Baahubali" in terms of lifetime worldwide box office collection, the latter has reportedly taken over the Salman-starrer in terms of word of mouth data. The word of mouth (WOM) score showed the percentage of audience of a particular film, who are likely to recommend the movie to their friends.

Ormax Media had conducted a survey on the biggest Hindi movies of 2015, which revealed that "Baahubali" has enjoyed the maximum word of mouth. The survey was conducted on the basis of WOM data collected for each movie for four weeks from the date of its release. "Baahubali" gets the maximum WOM score, while "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" comes second in the list.

SS Rajamouli's directorial "Baahubali" earned the highest WOM score of 83 and "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" got 77. Another blockbuster of 2015 "Bajirao Mastani" earned the third spot with a score of 74. Other movies which are in the top 10 are "Drishyam", "Tanu Weds Manu Returns", "Baby", "Piku", "Talvar", "Manjhi-The Mountain Man" and "Gabbar Is Back".

They also did a separate WOM survey on the biggest box office grossers of 2015. The first three slots remains unchanged with "Baahubali", "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and "Bajirao Mastani" respectively. Other seven biggest grossers of 2015 which got the highest WOM score are "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" (70), "Baby" (67), "Gabbar Is Back" (64), "ABCD 2" (62), "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" (56), "Welcome Back" (54) and "Dilwale" (50).
