5 things you didn’t know about Prabhas and Rana Daggubati’s Baahubali: The Conclusion

The enthusiasm for the finale part of Baahubali is tremendous and now that we have the exact date of release which is April 28, 2017, there are certain things you should know about Baahubali 2 or Baahubali: The Conclusion.

Baahubali was an eye opener. It proved that if you have the vision, scale can be achieved and a magnum opus can be mounted. Such was the film’s excitement that even Karan Johar couldn’t stop himself from associating with this epic of a film. It got a wide release and made some really cool numbers. Its Hindi dubbed version itself earned more than 100 crore which was never done by anyone before. Even Rajinikanth couldn’t make that happen with Robot and Sivaji. #1 The climax of this film is rumoured to have been shot for 30 cr. Since everyone liked the long drawn war scenes in the first film, more attention has been paid to the battle scenes in the follow up as well. So be prepared for some more extravaganza here.

#2 The climax will be 30 minutes long to give you a stunning experience.

#3 The makers had roped in stunt crew from the US who has worked in X Men. Also, there are fighters in the film who were part of Hollywood hits like 300 and Troy. And tell you what there’s a new kingdom ready to get unveiled in the film.

#4 The film has already made a whopping 45 crore by selling off its Tamil Nadu theatrical rights. According to IANS, the buyer has been kept a secret by the makers.

#5 There are also reports that the rights of dubbed Malayalam  version of Baahubali has raked in 10. 5 cr in Kerela by Global United Media who also distributed the first film. The numbers are higher than Kabali’s 7. 05 cr which was acquired by Mohanlal.
