Prabhas' Saaho Completes One Year

Rebel star Prabhas' Saaho completed one year of its release. Director Sujeeth’s 2019 Saaho starring Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor, Neil Nithin Makes, Jackie Shroff and others, clocked one year today. The film failed to live up to the audience's expectations. But, it ended up as the biggest blockbuster hit of 2019. On this special occasion, Prabhas shared his latest picture via Instagram and thanked his fans for continuous support, love towards him.
Saaho was made on a budget of Rs 350 Cr. Earlier, the makers didn’t have had a plan of making 'Saaho’ with a lavish budget but things changed after the success of Prabhas’ Baahubali. Saaho was shot using sophisticated cameras of recent times.
On the professional front, Prabhas will next be seen in ‘Radhe Shyam’. He is all set to participate in the Radhe Shyam shoot in the second week of September. He has signed his next project with Nag Ashwini where he will be sharing screen space with Deepika Padukone. On the other hand, Prabhas will be making Bollywood debut with Adipurush which will be directed by Om Raut and the film is going to be released in multiple languages. Prabhas dominates Bollywood stars during lockdown
Following the humongous success of the Baahubali franchise, Tollywood star Prabhas’ popularity witnessed a sky-high rise across the country. Especially, Prabhas’ North Indian fans are having a gala time, watching his dubbed movies on TV and on YouTube during this lockdown.
And the BARC ratings for the week starting from April 25th to May 1st reiterate Prabhas’ unbeatable dominance in North India, even beating other leading Bollywood stars. The Hindi version of Prabhas’ Saaho, which was aired on &Pictures, clocked a massive 83.34 lakh impressions. On the other hand, Baahubali The Beginning’s Hindi version clocked 73.89 lakh impressions on Sony Max.
For comparison, Rajinikanth’s Darbar’s Hindi dubbed version was telecast on Star Gold and it clocked 71.90 lakh impressions. Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 4 and Amitabh Bachchan’s Sooryavansham clocked 60.18 lakhs and 47.73 lakh impressions respectively.

Japanese fans go gaga over Prabhas in Saaho
Baahubali franchise’s historic success in several international territories had earned Prabhas a huge fan base across several countries. Especially, the love from the newfound fan clubs from Japan needs no introduction. All the Japanese fans are now going gaga over the Rebel Star in Saaho.
Saaho’s Japanese version released across some select theaters in Japan on Monday. The film is being screened with Telugu audio and Japanese subtitles. Crazy Japanese fans are hooting and whistling and are even throwing paper pieces just like Telugu fans whenever Prabhas appears on the screen. Despite all the euphoria, whether Saaho can match Baahubali’s success in Japan remains to be seen.
