Shooting Spot - Oke Oka Mata Song (Chakram)

Firstly thanks to Prabhas fans from Romania for letting me know about Chakram movie having been shot at Romania.

Coming to the song 'Oke Oka Mata', this song has been shot at Poiana in Bucharest, Romania. While Brasov is located about 166 kms north of Bucharest, Poiana is located about 5kms southwest of Brasov. Poiana is the most popular romanian sky resort and an important tourist centre. It is located at about 1,312 yards (1,200 m) above sea level.

The above scenes have been picturised at the St.John the Baptist Church at Poiana, Brasov. I find this church also referred to as Summer church, wood church etc. Moreover this is the only clearly identifiable location from the song.

Shooting Spot - Chakram

Remember the brief flashback scene in Chakram, where Prabhas and Asin are shown as doctors working abroad? These scenes have been shot at Bucharest, the Capital city of Romania. Take a look at these screenshots.

The huge building in the first screenshot is the Palace of the Parliament (Romanian: Palatul Parlamentului) in Bucharest, Romania. The Palace of the Parliament is the second largest building in the world, after the Pentagon. The place is so massive, that it can be seen from the moon.Bucharest residents still refer to it as Casa Poporului, the House of the People. Today it houses both chambers of the Romanian Parliament.

It was built by communist dictator Ceausescu . The construction began in 1983 and constructing the Palace and Centrul Civic required demolishing much of Bucharest's historic district, including 19 Orthodox Christian churches, six Jewish synagogues, three Protestant churches (plus eight relocated churches), and 30,000 residences. (More about this building can be found in the references given at the end.)

The building in the second screenshot is the 'Piaţa Constituţiei' (Romanian for "Constitution Square"), also known as Palace Square, is one of the largest squares in the downtown of Bucharest, Romania. The square is standing face-to-face with the Palace of the Parliament.

The modern glass building which is shown as the hospital where Prabhas and Asin work is actually the Bucharest Financial Plaza, the second tallest office building in Bucharest. The old building in the second screenshot is the CEC Bank Palace.

Shooting Spot - Saregamapadanisa Song (Raghavendra)

The Song Saragamapadanisa from Raghavendra (2003) has been shot in Munich, Germany. The song has been picturised in three major spots in Munich - The Hofgarten (Court garden), The Munich Olympic Stadium and the Nymphenburg Castle.

SCREENSHOTS

The opening scenes of the song have been shot at the Hofgarten (Court Garden), a garden in the center of Munich, Germany, located between the Residenz and the English Garden. The Green domed Gazebo in the center of the garden is a pavilion for the goddess Diana, built in 1615 by Heinrich Schön called the DianaTempel. The second screenshot shows the interior of the Dianatempel.

The tall domed building seen in the background in the first two screenshots is the Theatinerkirche Church. The building in the last screenshot is the Bavarian State Chancellary building (Bayrischstaatskanzlei) at Hofgarten.

The second part of the song has been shot at the Munich Olympic Stadium. The stadium was built as the main venue for the 1972 Olympics. The stadium was designed by German architect Günther Behnisch and was made of plexi glass and steel cables and was designed to imitae the Alps.
