Prabhas pulls off a social media record




'Baahubali' star Prabahs has logged a record on Facebook. The 'Saaho' star has become the first south Indian actor to clock a huge following of 14 million followers on the social networking site. 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' and 'Pushpa' actor Allu Arjun's figure stands at 13.1 million, somewhat behind Prabhas' strength.

Mahesh Babu, who is ultra-popular on Twitter, enjoys 7.97 million-strong following on FB. On the other hand, Ram Charan has got 7.1 million followers.

On the work front, Prabhas awaits the title announcement of his 20th film. It's said to be titled 'Jaan'. Directed by Radhakrishna Kumar, the film will be shot at a leisured pace after film shootings are permitted. Pooja Hegde is its heroine. Nag Ashwin's sci-fi commercial entertainer will be his 21st outing. It will hit the screens in April or May 2022.

Prabhas dominates Bollywood stars during lockdown



Following the humongous success of the Baahubali franchise, Tollywood star Prabhas’ popularity witnessed a sky-high rise across the country. Especially, Prabhas’ North Indian fans are having a gala time, watching his dubbed movies on TV and on YouTube during this lockdown.

 And the BARC ratings for the week starting from April 25th to May 1st reiterate Prabhas’ unbeatable dominance in North India, even beating other leading Bollywood stars. The Hindi version of Prabhas’ Saaho, which was aired on &Pictures, clocked a massive 83.34 lakh impressions. On the other hand, Baahubali The Beginning’s Hindi version clocked 73.89 lakh impressions on Sony Max.

 For comparison, Rajinikanth’s Darbar’s Hindi dubbed version was telecast on Star Gold and it clocked 71.90 lakh impressions. Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 4 and Amitabh Bachchan’s Sooryavansham clocked 60.18 lakhs and 47.73 lakh impressions respectively.

A Decade For The Movie That Changed The Course Of Young Rebel Star



Today, Prabhas’s much loved Darling movie has completed a decade. The Karunakaran directorial is the film that changed the course of Young Rebel Star and brought him closer to youth and families. It is also the flick that permanently affixed the moniker Darling to him.

 To understand the importance of Darling, we have to get further back in time by five years. In 2005, Prabhas had Chatrapathi, his first combination with director SS Rajamouli. Since then, the star struggled to get a proper hit. Many films post-Chatrapathi came with high expectations, but none managed to get the hit talk. There were a couple of average grossers, but none were getting him the real mileage as a star. At then, at the turn of the new decade, Darling happened. 

 The Karunakaran film was an instant hit with the fans, youth and family audience. It’s music by GV Prakash, and the pairing of Prabhas with Kajal is fondly remembered even today. Darling laid the foundation of what follows next for Prabhas like Mr Perfect, and Mirchi. The styling, youthful charm, and mass heroism without alienating the family audience were common elements seen henceforth. He also had an extraordinary run since then with back to back successful movies. 

 While Prabhas benefitted a lot from Darling, unfortunately, it was the last good film from director Karunakaran. He showed brief glimpses but hasn’t been able to deliver a complete entertainer in his style after it.

Die-hard fan reveals why Japanese fans love Prabhas



Star hero Prabhas attained international popularity worldwide with the humongous success of the Baahubali franchise. Especially, Prabhas is hugely popular among his fans in Japan who fondly call him ‘Prabhas San’. In a latest interview with a popular English daily, a die-hard Prabhas fan from Japan, Rina Matsui, revealed why the Japanese fans adore the Rebel Star.

 “Japanese people love Prabhas for his macho build and intensity. His good looks and booming voice. We just can’t get enough of him,” Rina said, further adding that she personally likes him for his action romance. Rina goes on reveal that, once the Coronavirus pandemic is over, she wants to visit Prabhas’ house and tell him how much Japanese people love him and want him to visit them again.

Prabhas: Plotline matters the most



“Baahubali” star Prabhas looks for an engaging plotline while picking a project, and says it should be designed to entertain the audience. “The story must be engaging and designed in a way that will entertain the audience. 

 While I do pay attention to my character in the film and the script, I think the plotline is what matters the most,” Prabhas said while talking about how he picks his projects. “My previous movies worked because of the way the director has treated the film, giving importance to each minute detail and not only concentrating on the big picture,” he added. 

 After the success of “Baahubali” franchise, he was seen in “Saaho”. Talking about how working in Bollywood is different from Tollywood, he said: Shooting-wise every film has its own way from Bollywood to Tollywood. Initially, speech in a not-so-familiar, language was a little difficult to learn but it was a great experience overall.”

Basic theme of Prabhas-Nag Ashwin film revealed?




It is a known fact that superstar Prabhas is doing a film in the direction of talented director Nag Ashwin. The film will go on floors in 2021 as of now.

 Meanwhile, many know by now it is a science fiction film. But we have come to know from our sources is that it is a time travel film where the characters go into a specific time zone.

 This news is not confirmed by the makers but sounds super interesting. Knowing Nag Ashwin’s talent and the way he writes his scripts, this film is going to be one hell of a ride for sure.

This is what Prabhas is doing during the lockdown



Prabhas went to Georgia to shoot for his latest film in the direction of Radha Krishna. But sadly, the shoot was halted due to Coronavirus scare and now Prabhas is staying at home alone.

 Sources close to him say that Prabhas is making use of the time in a superb way. The star hero is busy sleeping all the time and if he is not sleeping, Prabhas is video conferencing all his industry friends like Anushka, Rana and Rajamouli most of the time.

 The source also adds that Prabhas is not at all bothered that his film is getting delayed and feels that human survival is more important than any other thing.

After Shraddha, Prabhas to romance this star Bollywood heroine?



Hero Prabhas romanced popular Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor in his previous film, Saaho. Now, if the latest buzz in Bollywood tabloids is anything to go by, there’s a chance that Prabhas will be paired with star Bollywood heroine Katrina Kaif in his 21st project.

Apparently, Prabhas21’s director Nag Ashwin is planning to approach Katrina since the film is a pan-International protect and Kat’s presence will give the film an even wider reach. However, we will have to wait until an official announcement is made by the makers. The film will be going on floors in November this year.

Prabhas- A true pan-India star for a reason



Rebel star, Prabhas has achieved pan-India popularity post the humongous success of Baahubali. Especially, in North India, Prabhas craze reached new heights which was proved with the success of his last year released action-thriller, Saaho. Though the film flopped here in Telugu, it ended up as a profitable venture in Hindi only on the name of Prabhas.

Now, the latest update is that amidst huge demand from the fans and the audience, the makers are going to dub Saaho in Bhojpuri. As of now, dubbing formalities are underway and the film will soon be available on Youtube in the Bhojpuri language.

By looking at the mass craze for Prabhas among the North audience, it is clear that he is miles ahead of our local stars.

Prabhas strictly sticks to his policy


It is an unbelievable fact that a star hero like Prabhas has acted in only 7 movies in the last 5 years. After the Baahubali series and Saaho, Prabhas is currently acting in a high budget romantic entertainer.

 However, despite his catapulting stardom post Baahubali’s historic pan-Indian success, Prabhas is in no hurry and he is still signing movies at his leisure. In the process, he is said to be keeping even some of the big names in the business waiting for his nod to sign projects.

 Apparently, star producer Dil Raju too has been waiting to sign Prabhas for a project, but the actor is reportedly in no mood to announce a new film until he wraps up his ongoing 20th film. An official announcement regarding Prabhas’ next can be expected only at the end of the year.

Celebrity trainer gives clarity on working with Prabhas


Over the last few days, there has been a buzz that actor Prabhas is working out under the guidance of renowned trainer Lloyd Stevens, who first shaped NTR for Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava. Fans have been excited to see some crazy transformation.

But breaking the hopes of many, the trainer himself shared the news on media and said that it is’ fake news much to the disappointment of fans who had been asking him for pictures and updates on the same!

“Sorry to disappoint you guys but this is NOT true and I have no idea how this rumor was created?? Wishing you all a very blessed New Year and prosperous 2020 (sic),” he posted!
