UV Creations, the film's producers, tweeted the 1st week box office collection of Saaho while Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh shared the numbers of the Sujeeth directorial's Hindi version. The big-budget film also stars Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mandira Bedi, Chunky Pandey in supporting roles.

Mumbai circuit has collected around Rs 36 crore nett while Delhi / UP has done a business of Rs 27 crore nett approx, which is very good.

It has to be noted that the movie was made on a enormous budget of Rs 350 crore, making it the second-most expensive Indian film so far.

Now as per various reports, Prabhas who dedicated two years of his life for Saaho may soon be taking a much-needed break from films for some time.

The 39-year-old actor earlier in numerous interviews had stated that he is least interested dedicating years for a film like he had dedicated for Baahubali and Saaho.

The action-thriller earned Rs 25.25 crore approximately on its first day at the ticket window. According to Box Office India, Saho had grossed 88 crore on Friday, 51 crore on Saturday, 51 crore on Sunday, 31 crore on Monday, 31 crore on Monday, 16 crore on Tuesday, 10.50 crore on Wednesday. The film, which released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam on August 30, has earned over Rs 350 crore worldwide and this is phenomenal despite opened to negative reviews by the critics. In this regard, the film had grossed 247 crores in 6 days.

Saaho Producers to spend Rs 2.5 crore on pre-release event

Prabhas in a recent interview revealed that Saaho is made on a huge budget of Rs 350 crore, and it has to be noted that the makers have spent Rs 80 crore on just one fight sequence. The film has used many specially-made vehicles, killer machines, and gadgets.

All of those items are going to be on display at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad in a pre-release event of the film. The event is all set to take place on August 18. It is reported that Rs 2.5 crore has been spent for the function.

Apart from the film's cast and crew, the event will be attended by all the leading celebrities of Telugu cinema. The exhibition of the film props will continue for a few more days, according to the reports.

Saaho, directed by Sujeeth, is an action-thriller, with Prabhas playing a double agent. Shraddha Kapoor is playing a crime branch officer in the movie. Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jacki Shroff, and Arun Vijay are other actors who play vital roles in Saaho.

The trailer of the film teased the audience with visuals from a high-octane fight sequence and stylish gangsters.

The film which was planned to hit the screens on August 15, has been postponed by 15 days. Saaho will release worldwide in multiple languages on August 30.
