Tamannaah's Bulgarian sojourn is turning to be quite action packed, we hear. She is currently filming for some high- octane action episodes in the Bulgarian capital of Sofia for Baahubali. The actress is paired opposite Prabhas in the period drama.
"People have seen me playing the glam doll all the time and this role will come as a revelation. I play Avanthika, a character from an unspecified era. A lot of thought went into the costume and jewellery to get the look right. Director Rajamouli asked me to lose 5-6kg to look the part, so I followed a stringent workout and diet regimen to get the look right," shares Tamannaah.
Apparently, the actress trained in archery and horse riding for the film. "The audience will get to see a totally different side of her. She has done several risky stunts in the film. This must be by far, the most physically challenging character she has played till date. Rajamouli is particular about his actors getting every shot right and doesn't mind going for multiple takes. But Tamannaah surprised him by getting her shots right within one or two takes," shares a source, close to the production house.
The film's unit has been shooting in freezing temperatures in Sofia. Tamannaah though is making the most of her free time gorging on exotic Bulgarian chocolates.
