Well, this is one of the craziest things i have done so far, even for Prabhas - putting subtitles for a Telugu Movie, a language i hardly knew except for a couple of words just two years back. I have made these subtitles for all those who do not know Telugu, for them to enjoy this movie. I can't assure you 100% accuracy, but i'm sure atleast 90% of the subtitles are rightly done. I have not used any fancy language or played with words and have tried to keep the language as simple as possible. and excuse me for not subtitling the songs - that's way beyond the Telugu i know right know. I welcome suggestions and comments from all the Telugu friends for improving these subtitles. You can post them in the comments.

ReplyDeleteThanks. Yeah... It took me abt a month and i worked for abt half an hour each day and a little more on weekends - may be about 40-50 hrs. Not very difficult, but i'm now happy i did it. It did improve my Telugu and my English as well!

ReplyDeleteAnyway I'm Telugu and I have seen this movie earlier. Its a nice movie (idlebrain.com rating: 3.25/5). Anything above 3 is considered very good. Many movies get 3 and only a few good movies make it to more than 3!
And finally, I have never seen such a hot guy as Prabhas in my life so far. He is damn hot and handsome.
