Prabhas20’s team recreates Rome in Hyderabad with 18 sets

 

The shooting for Baahubali star Prabhas and Pooja Hegde’s period romantic drama, tentatively titled Jaan, is currently underway in Hyderabad. This is Prabhas’ 20th project and it is being produced under Gopi Krishna Movies and UV Creations banners.

As per the latest updates, Prabhas20’s team is recreating 1980 vintage Italian city of Rome at a studio Hyderabad. The film’s production designer S Ravinder is erecting as many as 18 giant sets that resemble Rome.

So far, 3 sets were constructed and the makers have spent a whopping Rs 3 crores on the heroine’s house set. After wrapping up the Hyderabad schedule, the team will be flying to Rome for a major schedule. Radhakrishna Kumar is directing this much-awaited project.

Prabhas all set to resume Prabhas20’s shoot

Baahubali star Prabhas has been busy juggling two highly-anticipated projects, Saaho and Prabhas20, since last year. With Prabhas20, tentatively titled Jaan, Prabhas is revisiting the romance genre after a long time. Pooja Hegde plays Prabhas’ love interest in the movie.

Now, after wrapping up a major portion of Saaho’s shoot, Prabhas, along with Pooja, is all set to resume Jaan from tomorrow. Jaan’s latest schedule will take place in a specially erected set at Annapurna Studios. Noted Production Designer Ravinder has recreated the vintage Italy for this crucial schedule.

Jaan will release either during Sankranthi 2020 or towards the end of this year. An official announcement regarding the release date will be made later this year. Radhakrishna Kumar is directing Prabhas20. Gopikrishna Movies and UV Creations banners are jointly producing this high budget entertainer. Amit Trivedi is scoring the soundtrack.

Prabhas To Concentrate On His Romantic Film For Now!

Don't assume that we meant Prabhas lost confidence on Saaho and start screaming abuses on him or don't start hurling abuses on us. Please read the update fully.

The latest information about Saaho is that director, Sujeeth Sign and his team are looking to start their next schedule with Prabhas in April and are busy in planning it.

They have a mini schedule with other actors later this month and will proceed to plan and execute one big schedule with Prabhas in April. We already reported that Arun Vijay completed his portion recently.

Now, Prabhas will also take a break from Saaho and start his romantic entertainer with Radhakarishna from the end of this week. He will be busy for rest of the month shooting for this film.

Pooja Hegde will join him along with other actors in Hyderabad. Special sets have been constructed by Ravindra, art director, for the film. 

After this in April a long schedule is planned for Saaho with Prabhas, exact dates aren't locked yet by the team. Once he finishes this schedule, in May till mid-June, Prabhas will be in Europe along with Pooja Hegde for Prabhas20.

Producer of the film, Krishnam Raju, Prabhas's uncle and Telugu film's original Rebel Star will also participate in the shoot for a brief schedule. UV Creations and Gopi Krishna Arts  are producing the film together.

Indo-German actress’ negative role in Saaho?

It’s been reported earlier that Indo-German actress Evelyn Sharma is playing a crucial role in Prabhas’ most eagerly awaited action adventurous thriller, Saaho. Evelyn took part in the film’s Abu Dhabi and RFC schedules and performed some high-octane stunts along with the Young Rebel Star.

Now, if the latest buzz is to be believed, Evelyn will be seen portraying a negative role in Saaho. The model turned actress be seen wielding guns, apart from man to man combats in some electrifying action sequences. Last year, speaking in an interview, Evelyn said that she thoroughly enjoyed shooting for Saaho with Prabhas and even hailed him as a gentleman and an absolute pleasure to work with.

Saaho is being directed by Sujeeth and produced under UV Creations banner. Shraddha Kapoor is the leading lady in this high-budget multilingual thriller. Saaho is slated for release on August 15.

Tamil star confirms Saaho’s release date

With only three songs and a major action sequence left to be shot apart from a minor patchwork, Prabhas’ Saaho is almost complete. Until the Shades of Saaho: Chapter 2’s release, Saaho was poised to hit screens on August 15, as an Independence Day treat. But there was no official announcement on the release date in the Chapter 2 making video. This left everyone wondering if Saaho will be postponed to a later date.

But here comes an almost official update. Popular Tamil hero Arun Vijay, who’s essaying a crucial role in Saaho, took to Twitter this morning and said that he has wrapped up his part in this much-awaited action adventurous thriller. Not stopping there, Arun went on to say, “Wait for an exhilarating experience in theatres from Aug 15!,” indirectly making the release date official.

Saaho is being made simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. UV Creations banner is bankrolling the project with a budget of nearly Rs 250 crore and Sujeeth is directing it. Shraddha Kapoor is the film’s leading lady.

Krishnam Raju’s wife drops a major hint about Prabhas’ marriage

For the last few years, hero Prabhas’ marriage has been one of the hottest topics among his fans and media circles. Massive Budget For 'Saaho' Interval Block

The expectations on young Rebel Star Prabhas' upcoming movie 'Saaho' are sky high. Touted to be a multi core action drama, Sujeeth is helming this project.

Saaho sets a record before release

Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor are coming for the first time together for Saaho. Both the making videos of the film have gone viral and the movie is expected to be a huge blockbuster in Hindi and Telugu languages.

The movie budget is in excess of 150 crores and UV Creations is producing the film with T-Series as partner in Hindi. The movie is been shot over an year and it is scheduled for a release on 15th August, this year.

'Saaho' overseas rights sold for this amount

As per a trade report, the overseas rights of 'Saaho' have already been sold out.  A distribution company named Phars Films has bought the rights.

For all the languages put together, the amount is said to be Rs 42 Cr.  This is for all the overseas markets with the exception of China.

If 'Saaho' works big-time, the Chinese release rights can fetch high figures.  Also, the theatrical release in China will be huge if everything goes well.

Directed by Sujeeth, the multi-lingual actioner has Prabhas in a suave role.  Shraddha Kapoor is the heroine.  It will hit the screens on August 15.
