'Rebel' Shooting Update

The issues around Rebel were sorted out in an amicable manner. The film has resumed shooting for the final long schedule. They are shooting a few scenes near Usman Sagar and Tamanna will join the team from December. Lawrence & Prabhas are hoping to continue their successful track record with Rebel.

'Rebel' resumes Shooting!

Young Rebel Star Prabhas’s new film under the direction of Raghava Lawrence has resumed its shooting. The film was shot at Himayat Nagar yesterday where the unit has shot an exclusive fight on Rebel Star Krishnam Raju. The actor is essaying a key role in the film. Tamanna and Deesksha Seth are romancing Prabhas for the first time in this film.

The film is produced by J Bhagawan and J Pulla Rao. The shooting of the film was halted for some time as Lawrence fell ill. Thaman is composing music and Ram-Lakshman are the stunt masters. The film has Dr Brahmanandam, Kelly Dorji, Mukesh Rishi, Sayaji Shinde, Ali, MS Narayana, Supreeth, Jayaprakash Reddy, etc in key roles.

Prabhas - Rajamouli Film to be produced by Shobu Yarlagadda

Darling Prabhas and Rajamouli combination film has been confirmed and is going to be produced by Shobu Yarlagadda, who is currently producing Pawan kalyan’s Panjaa. Producer has confirmed the news about this prestigious project on a social networking site. The regular shooting of this most anticipated movie will start from April, 2012. Rajamouli has readied a powerful script for Prabhas. According to latest buzz, the movie is a mass action entertainer. Both Rajamouli and Prabhas have collectively worked earlier for Chatrapathi, which is a blockbuster at that time.

Rajamouli seems busy with the post- production and graphic works of his upcoming movie Eega, which is going to hit the screens in March, 2012. Prabhas is currently busy with his forthcoming stylish action entertainer called Rebel, directed by Raghava Lawrence. Prabhas has also signed another movie titled Varadhi, under the direction of Koratala Siva. This movie will hit the floors in coming December.

The Song 'Adugulona' from Raghavendra (2003) has been shot in Vienna, Austria. Vienna is the capital and largest city of the Republic of Austria. Let's now move on to the song locations.

The above scenes were shot at the Red Army Monument or the Soviet War Memorial in Vienna more formally known as as the Heldendenkmal der Roten Armee (English: Heroes' Monument of the Red Army) is located at Vienna's Schwarzenbergplatz and was built to commemorate 17,000 Soviet soldiers who fell in the Battle for Vienna of World War II.

The above scenes were shot at the St.Charles Church (German: Karlskirche). The church, finished in 1739 by his son Joseph Emanuel Fischer von Erlach, was built as the result of a vow taken by Emperor Charles VI during a plague epidemic. The church is consecrated to the patron saint of the Habsburg emperor, Saint Charles Borromeo.

The sculpture seen in the foreground is the 'Hill Arches' by English Sculptor Henry Moore. It was presented to the City of Vienna by artist himself in 1978.

The building is considered controversial owing to its contrast with the adjacent St.Stephan's Cathedral where a couple of scenes were also shot. Check these screenshots.

The above scenes were shot at the Natural History Museum, Vienna. The museum building opened in 1889 at the same time as the Kunsthistorisches Museum. The two museums have identical exteriors and face each other across Maria-Theresien-Platz. The statue where a few shots have been picturised is the Maria Theresa Statue.

Is 'Rebel' getting delayed?

Seems like we have to wait for as long as we waited for Mr.Perfect to hit the screens. This news from Andhraboxoffice wasn't a total shocker, considering that the producers haven't kept their promise of releasing Rebel's new look on October 23rd as promised and no offcial news on the movie's progress coming in. Well, here's the news from Andhraboxoffice.

Prabhas’s Rebel, whose final 70day long schedule was to start on November 5 hasn’t gone to floors even after November 15. The Project is in a total mess after differences erupted between the Producers, Director & Hero after replacing Anushka with Tamanna. The film, sources say will not have any schedules this year unless some one come forward to takeover the project.

The producers are already in discussions with Bellamkonda Suresh for a takeover proposal but he is too busy with Bodyguard and is going to wait and watch till Sankranthi gets over. On the other side Prabhas and Tamanna are procceding with their other commitments. Prabhas will start shooting for ‘Vaaradhi’ from December.

It looks like Rebel is going to delayed by 2-3 months and will not release even for Summer 2012!.

Prabhas's New Film gets a Telugu Title

Most Prabhas's films have been titled after his character name in the movie - Eeshwar, Raghavendra, Munna, Yogi, Billa etc and his last two films, Darling & Mr.Perfect and the upcoming 'Rebel' have English Titles. Only few of his films have had Telugu Titles - Varsham, Chatrapathi, Pournami & Bujjigadu (not considering Adavi Ramudu). Now Prabhas's new film in the direction of Koratala Siva has got a pure Telugu title - 'VAARADHI' (meaning 'bridge'). The makers (UV Creations)have already registered the name and it is more or less a confirmed title for the film which stars Anushka & Richa opposite Prabhas.
