UV Creations, the film's producers, tweeted the 1st week box office collection of Saaho while Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh shared the numbers of the Sujeeth directorial's Hindi version. The big-budget film also stars Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mandira Bedi, Chunky Pandey in supporting roles.
Mumbai circuit has collected around Rs 36 crore nett while Delhi / UP has done a business of Rs 27 crore nett approx, which is very good.
It has to be noted that the movie was made on a enormous budget of Rs 350 crore, making it the second-most expensive Indian film so far.
Now as per various reports, Prabhas who dedicated two years of his life for Saaho may soon be taking a much-needed break from films for some time.
The 39-year-old actor earlier in numerous interviews had stated that he is least interested dedicating years for a film like he had dedicated for Baahubali and Saaho.
The action-thriller earned Rs 25.25 crore approximately on its first day at the ticket window. According to Box Office India, Saho had grossed 88 crore on Friday, 51 crore on Saturday, 51 crore on Sunday, 31 crore on Monday, 31 crore on Monday, 16 crore on Tuesday, 10.50 crore on Wednesday. The film, which released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam on August 30, has earned over Rs 350 crore worldwide and this is phenomenal despite opened to negative reviews by the critics. In this regard, the film had grossed 247 crores in 6 days.
