Reports have been doing rounds since the past 2 months that a leading production house will be acquiring the Hindi theatrical rights of 'Baahubali'. This buzz has come true Today!The Hindi rights of Tollywood's costliest film, Baahubali, have been acquired by none other than Karan Johar, one of the most influential filmmakers in Bollywood. While the exact figure of the deal has not been revealed until now, Karan seemed to have paid a handsome price to grab the rights amidst stiff competition. He is going to release the Hindi version through his prestigious banner Dharma Productions. This will be a big boost to the team of 'Baahubali'
Baahubali is undoubtedly the most eagerly awaited film of 2015. The film will be released in two parts and the first part will hit the screens on 15th May. Karan Johar has a knack of spotting the right caliber and content in his films. Now that the film has been sold off in Hindi, film lovers' across the country can glimpse the might of Tollywood this summer.
Featuring Prabhas, Anushka, Tamannah and Rana in the lead roles, Baahubali is being directed by our very own Jakkanna. The film's post-production work is going on at the moment and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to make the film a technical wonder in the history of Indian cinema.
