SS Rajamouli and Prabhas' second movie together, "Baahubali: the Beginning" (Bahubali), which has become a blockbuster hit at the worldwide box office, has earned Rs 302 crore for its distributors.
Released in 4,000+ screens around the world on 10 July, "Baahubali: the Beginning" opened to an earth-shattering response and made record-breaking collection. A month ago, it was reported that the movie had crossed the mark of Rs 600 crore at the worldwide box office and become the third all-time highest grosser Indian film after "PK" and "Bajrangi Bhaijaan".
If we are to go by the latest estimates of Andhra Box Office, "Baahubali: the Beginning" is yet to surpass the rs 600 crore mark (gross). The website claims the movie has grossed Rs 586.45 crore at the worldwide box office in 87 days. The film is still being screened in several cinema halls around the world.
"Baahubali" has been made with a whopping budget of Rs 250 crore, which also includes the 40% production cost of its sequel. The global theatrical rights of "Baahubali: the Beginning" have fetched Rs 117 crore to its producers, according to Andhra Box Office.
