The recent floods may have devastated Chennai’s beauty, but the spirit of Chennaiites remained strong during those challenging conditions. To celebrate this very spirit, a group of stars from all the film industries down south have joined hands to shoot for the Spirit of Chennai tribute video song.
The song, being directed by Tamil star Chiyaan Vikram, features leading Tamil stars like Suriya, Karthi, Arya, Vishal, Bobby Simha and Puneeth Rajkumar and Yash from the Kannada film industry, Nivin Pauly from the Malayalam film industry and actresses Hansika and Nitya Menen etc.
Icing on the cake is that Telugu stars Prabhas, Ram Charan, Nani and Rana will also make their appearance in this song.
The shoot will continue until the 10th of this month and the song will be released on the Republic Day (January 26th). Vikram already released a flood relief anthem song titled Spirit of Chennai on January 2nd.
