Baahubali becomes the first ever Hindi dubbed film to release in over 1500 screens across India!
SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus is all set for a wide release with over 4000 screens across the globe gearing up to play the period flick
July is here and one of the biggest releases of this year beckons us. With just few days to go for the grand release of Baahubali, the excitement and the buzz surrounding the film is humongous.
By now every movie buff would have witnessed few glimpses of the visual spectacle called Baahubali starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah and Anushka Shetty. Touted to be India’s biggest motion picture, made at a budget of Rs 250 crores and counting, Baahubali had left Shankar’s I far behind in terms budget. We hear that Baahubali has beaten I yet again. The first part of Baahubali, releasing on July 10, will hit over 4000 screens across the globe while Shankar’s I had released in only 1280 screens.
Being a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, it is releasing in over 2000 screens down south. But what’s exciting to see is that Baahubali, inspite of being a dubbed Hindi film, would get a wide release across the country like any other Bollywood flick. Sources claim that Hindi version of SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus will release in over 1500 screens, which is huge considering that it is not a straight Hindi film.
Looks like Dharma Productions and Karan Johar are leaving no stones unturned in getting Baahubali the widest release possible.
