Made on a whopping budget of Rs. 250 crore, the much hyped and highly anticipated Baahubali helmed by SS Rajamouli released today in around 4000+ screens across the globe.
The film stars south actors Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah and Anushka Shetty and was simultaneously shot in Telugu and Tamil and dubbed in Malayalam and Hindi.
The promos of the film, its VFX highlights and the background score of the trailer received an overwhelming response worldwide.
After being premiered in the international market, the movie minted a massive amount of 1.25 million at the USA box office alone, which is a new record in the history of Indian cinema.
In the domestic domain the film ran packed housed even at 4:00 am and 6:30 am shows in parts like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra. In fact it has created such a craze that in parts like Andhra Pradesh and Telangana the ticket rates have hiked up to Rs. 4000 to Rs. 8000 and are yet selling like hot cakes.
The occupancy of this multi starrer is just getting better as the day passes. The evening and night shows are pre booked to full houses.
As per early trend reports the film is expected to make a record breaking collection of around 40 to 45 crore approximately on the first day, becoming the biggest opener of 2015.
